Developmental Screening

A Simple Way to Check Your Child’s Development

Every child grows and learns at their own pace but sometimes it helps to pause and check in. Developmental screening is a quick, confidential way for families to better understand how their child is developing and whether they may benefit from additional support.

This screening is free, voluntary, and designed to support families - not label or diagnose children.

What Is a Developmental Screening?

A developmental screening is a short set of questions about your child’s learning, communication, movement, behavior, and social skills. It helps identify areas where your child is developing as expected and highlights areas that may need closer attention.

Screenings are commonly used as a first step to:

  • Reassure families when development is on track

  • Identify possible delays early

  • Connect families to helpful resources if needed

Who Is This For?

This screening is helpful for:

  • Parents and caregivers of young children

  • Families who have questions about their child’s development

  • Anyone who wants a quick, easy way to check milestones

You do not need a referral, diagnosis, or prior concern to complete the screening.
